Owner/Veterinary Technician

Ashley hails from the beautiful island of Jamaica and has called Florida home for over 13 years. From a young age, she developed a deep love for animals and was determined to pursue a career in the field. Her journey began with volunteering at shelters in Jamaica and later evolved into a career as a veterinary technician in Florida, where she has been dedicated to helping animals of all kinds.

A graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, Ashley brings over 11 years of experience in animal care, with a particular focus on birds and exotic animals.  She particularly enjoys surgery and continuously learning new and advanced methods of veterinary care so as to provide the best treatment for our scaled, feathered or furry friends.

While working as a veterinary technician, Ashley recognized the need for a specialized transportation service to help animals in need of medical attention. This insight led to the creation of Hare’s Run, a service designed to ensure that our beloved pets of all shapes and sizes, receive the medical attention they deserve.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading, bingeing tv shows, cooking, “getting lost” on nature walks and, of course, spending time with her animal and human family.
